What Can Parents Do Today to Prepare Their Children for Tomorrow
With the support of Miller Lite, ¡Adelante! also will conduct educational parent workshops throughout Texas to provide parents with the tools to ensure their families have the opportunity to pursue a higher education. The Miller Lite-sponsored workshops will take place in San Antonio, Dallas, McAllen and El Paso. They will feature former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Tony Casillas, as well as U.S. Congressional Gold Medal Award recipient and former MillerCoors 2010 Líder of the year Raul Magdaleno. The parent workshops will cover topics ranging from financial aid to exploring career choices.
