¡Adelante! Fund Scholarship Program 

As the fastest growing minority group in the United States, Latinos have increasing buying power and influence on our economy.  Proportionate access to and success in higher education is vital to the enrichment and advancement of the Hispanic community.

United Parcel Service Leadership Program recipiants benefit from a $3,000 scholarship, invitation to the annual Leadership Institute and a chance to compete for Internships Across America! 

LATINO STUDENTS WHO MAY APPLY FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP MUST:
                     
            ·  Pursue a degree in Business or related fields throughout the duration of
                the scholarship term.
            ·  Have and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale).
            ·  Be eligible for financial aid from a federal or state-funded program.
            ·  Maintain full-time enrollment status throughout duration of the scholarship term.
            ·  Provide two letters of recommendation which express leadership potential.
            ·  Complete the Student Survey form.
            ·  Participate in Adelante’s Leadership Institute and possibly participate in
                a paid internship in summer 2007 in a business or corporation.
